Steven is married to Ms Helhammer (Ash) and they have 3 beautiful little Helhammer roadies, Kingsley, Miles and Henrik.
They play a lot of rock in the Helhammer household and take great pride in getting the kids to appreciate rock of all genres.
Steven is a proud ambassador of rock music and loves to promote and collaborate with musicians around the world.
Steven has been playing drums for over 30 years. Since releasing an album with his first band Incision back in 1997, he has been obsessed with music.
His second band Stomped, released 2 albums and was signed to EMI/Virgin. They played several large Suropean summer festivals in the early 2000’s and supported international acts like Soulfly, The Haunted and Transport League.
Steven focuses most of time on collaboration projects now and loves to meet new musicians and music lovers.
In 2021 (after releasing his first original songs), he teamed up with local guitarist and singer Jacob Kenny and formed a very unique collaboration concept, Perth United.
The project was built around Helhammers vision of bringing people together to create music together, a concept that has now been carried over to a global platform to help grassroots bands from across the globe connect and create music together – and help raise money for charity and events under the Ambassadors of Rock banner.
